Chin Yong Kwek Featured in The Business Times on GRAB's Anti-Fraud Team Expansion

As ride-hailing unicorn GRAB continues to grow and expand its super-app, it also sees an increase in fraudulent activity. The tech startup has recently charged three individuals in Singapore for alleged payment fraud through one of its services. It will also target to expand its regional anti-fraud team to monitor and prevent fraud and future scams.

“The sheer volume of low-value transactions that super-app players process across multiple verticals – from ride-hailing and food delivery to e-payments – make them ideal targets for bad actors,” said Chin Yong Kwek, Associate Managing Director in the Business Intelligence and Investigations practice of Kroll, a division of Duff & Phelps.
