Michael Dolan is a managing director in the Valuation Advisory Services practice and is the New York office city leader. In addition, he leads the Latin America practice and is the global leader of the Industrials Products industry group and works across numerous other industries, including technology, media and telecom, healthcare technology and consumer products. Michael also serves on various internal committees for Kroll. 
 
Michael has over 20 years of experience with Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps), starting with the Valuation Services group within Coopers & Lybrand LLP, which merged with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Corporate Value Consulting practice and was later bought by Standard & Poor’s. Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps) acquired Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting group in 2005.
 
Michael has performed numerous valuations for financial reporting, tax and merger and acquisition purposes and has extensive experience in the valuations of businesses and related assets, including patents, technology, trademarks and licenses. Michael has directed engagements for numerous large clients across various industries, such as ABM; Cognizant; DIRECTV; EMCOR; Fox; GE; Intelsat; IQVIA; MLBAM; NBA; News Corporation; Revlon; Veolia; and YETI. Michael has served as an expert witness in arbitration matters. He also served as an independent third party arbitrator in the buyout of a minority investor in the retail business of a multinational luxury goods conglomerate and related to the buyout of a minority investor in a large tobacco company. 
 
Michael received a B.S. business administration with concentrations in economics, finance and marketing from the University of Richmond. He also holds an MBA with concentrations in finance and accounting from Boston College Carroll School of Management and he received his JD from Boston College Law School. Michael is a CFA charter holder and a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Business Law, Tax and Intellectual Property Law Sections, the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA). Michael has completed the exam requirements to be Certified in Entity and Intangible Valuations (CEIV).
