A recognized authority in economic contribution and impact evaluation, Steve’s recent work has focused on international trade dynamics and climate-related risks. His career includes leadership roles at EY—where he headed Australia’s Economics Team—following the founding and successful acquisition of Cadence Economics, a boutique consultancy dedicated to strategic forecasting and economic modelling. He was previously a partner at Deloitte Access Economics, and earlier in his career led global modelling efforts for the Australian Government, contributing to Australia's position in the Kyoto Protocol climate negotiations.
Steve has helped clients across government and industry navigate complex decisions by quantifying risk and projecting long-term outcomes with precision. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne.
