Kroll’s Security Risk Management (SRM) team was retained by a U.S.-based company with a significant workforce in Ukraine, and more specifically centered in Kyiv. Many of these employees served in critical roles and were instrumental to the delivery of our client’s online products and services. Ukraine faced an impending invasion by hostile forces, and our client wanted to fortify their continuity and resilience planning to ensure the safety and welfare of their people and families in Kyiv.
In the weeks leading up to Russia’s ground offensive, Kroll’s SRM team worked around-the-clock to review, edit, augment and supplement our client’s business continuity and resiliency plans as well as emergency actions plans. During this time, Kroll provided ongoing crisis management advice and risk monitoring to build up a library of knowledge to enable the client to make informed decisions on the safety and welfare of their workforce and their families.
As a result of Kroll’s work:
“I wanted to thank you and your team, for your exemplary work in helping us prepare for the war in Ukraine and in providing critical intelligence to inform our decision-making both before and after the Russian invasion began. The guidance provided by Kroll, including threat assessments as Russian aggression escalated from crisis into war and input on business continuity preparations, were vital to ensuring that we were as prepared as possible for these tragic events. As the situation continues to evolve, we are grateful to know that you stand ready to continue providing us with your expert knowledge and support.”
