The Q3-2019 summary reflects the growing prevalence of unitranche structures, with direct lenders supporting a wide variety of sponsors with acquisition financings and refinancings, the latter forming an increasingly large share of the transactions we are working on.
Given our broad focus and expertise across direct lending through to more alternative credit solutions, we are the provider of choice for the increasingly active special situations and credit opportunistic funds. This resulted in our team playing a large part in the very high profile Steinhoff restructuring where we efficiently and seamlessly served the borrower and a syndicate of some +300 lenders since 2017.
