As a reminder, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “CFTC”) requires entities to annually affirm certain CFTC registration exemptions, including the exemptions under Regulations 4.13(a)(3) and 4.14(a)(8). Accordingly, any entity relying on one of these exemptions must affirm its annual claim of exemption by March 2, 2015 through the NFA Exemptions website. Failure to complete an affirmation will result in a withdrawal of the relevant exemption. There is no fee for affirming an exemption.
