Ryan Cook

Ryan Cook is a director in the Alternative Asset Advisory practice, based in Atlanta. He leverages more than 7 years of valuation and financial advisory experience.

Ryan specializes in advising a wide range of asset managers, including some of the largest private equity firms, venture capital firms, hedge funds and business development companies, on their illiquid investments. His focus includes the valuation of equity and debt securities across a diverse range of capital structures, industries and geographies, with a specialization in complex equity securities in technology companies. In addition, Ryan has extensive experience in executing valuations of businesses and their underlying securities for tax, financial reporting and strategic planning purposes, as well as performing decision support analyses for transactions under consideration.

Ryan also has performed valuations for mergers & acquisitions (ASC Topic 805), impairment testing (ASC Topic 350), and stock-based compensation (ASC Topic 718) purposes.

Ryan holds a BBA in finance from the University of Georgia.
