With over 18 years of experience, he has been involved in a wide range of engagements, including transfer pricing compliance, tax effective supply chain management, controversy and transfer pricing policy design. Rafael's expertise spans multiple locations, including Mexico City, Puebla, Monterrey, Tijuana, Rome, Doha, and Riyadh, with a focus on the automotive, oil & gas, maquiladora and consumer products industries.
Rafael began his transfer pricing career at PwC Mexico. After two years, he joined EY Mexico, where he soon became the primary point of contact for clients in the center-south geographical area of the country. At EY, Rafael led go-to-market initiatives and built high-performing teams. His most recent and valuable experience was at EY in the Riyadh office, where he leveraged his skills to foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues across the EMEIA region.
Rafael holds a master's degree in finance from Italy, a master's degree in economics, a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and a bachelor's degree in international trade, all obtained in Mexico.
