Prior to Kroll, Mario served as Senior Manager at EY in the Middle East, Luxembourg and Colombia. His tenure in Europe saw him leading international teams on global transfer pricing documentation projects and structuring complex financial transactions. In the Middle East, he contributed to the development of local transfer practices in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Mario began his professional journey in Colombia in 2007, working on numerous transfer pricing projects across diverse industries for 11 years.
An alumnus of Universidad de los Andes and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Mario holds a master’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. He is a lecturer at Universidad Externado, fluent in Spanish, English and French, with intermediate proficiency in Portuguese. Currently, he is pursuing the CFA charter (CFA L2 candidate) from the CFA Institute, and the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation from the UK-based Chartered Institute of Taxation.
