Jose has more than 25 years of experience in the management of large projects in the industrial sector across different countries. During this period, he had resolved contractual conflicts with large companies, both state, parastatal and private.
Prior to joining Kroll, he served as Director of Large Projects, Country Manager, Managing Director, always in large multinationals, both EPC contractors and owners or promoters of industrial facilities and power plants.
By sector, it is worth highlighting his extensive experience in both industrial and energy sectors with the development and construction of large projects of petrochemical, photovoltaic and wind plants, cogeneration, steam thermal power plants, combined cycle power plants and oil & gas.
He has been responsible for the operation of both companies and business units or countries, highlighting his international experience and knowledge of the Latin American market. Throughout his career he has accumulated direct experience in industrial and generation investments totaling more than USD 3 billion. He has managed projects in which more than 1,500 people have participated as staff with operating accounts of USD 500 million. He has also managed dispute resolutions total worth over USD 5 billion.
Jose is an industrial engineer, specializing in electrical engineering, from the University of Malaga (Spain). He also holds a qualification in Project Management from Spanish Business School IFAES (International Faculty for Executive).
