Ignacio Casas is a director in the Expert Services practice, based Madrid. He leverages more than 12 years of experience in providing forensic services in litigation and dispute scenarios, including expert reports, arbitration, mediation, insolvency and investigations.
Ignacio joined Kroll, in January 2018. Prior to joining Kroll, he served as a manager in the forensic services department at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he was involved in a multitude of disputes and investigations at both the national and international level. Before that, he worked in audit department at Grant Thornton. In that role, he acquired a strong background in accounting and financial matters as a result of his work in audit processes carried out by companies across a range of industries.
Ignacio has extensive experience in the preparation of expert reports and in the defense and confirmation of findings in the Spanish courts (civil, judicial review, commercial, criminal and employment jurisdictions) and in different arbitration tribunals (principally CIMA and the Arbitration Court of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce). He has also been involved in a number of fraud investigations.
Ignacio received a degree in business administration and management from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
