
Filippo Toniolo is a director in the Expert Services practice, based in London. Filippo leverages more than eight years of experience in the construction and engineering industry. He has carried out forensic delay analyses and prepared expert reports on delay, disruption and project management issues for a wide range of construction disputes. He has also been involved in both international arbitration and adjudication.
Filippo joined Kroll through the acquisition of Blackrock Expert Services Group ("Blackrock") in 2020. Before that, he was a managing consultant at Blackrock.
Before joining Blackrock, Filippo worked as a geo-environmental engineer in sub-Saharan Africa. He was responsible for project managing assessments for the oil and gas industry as well as large-scale water infrastructure projects for municipal and industrial clients. Filippo also has extensive experience in brownfield redevelopment projects.
Additionally, Filippo has been involved in a diverse range of delay and project management disputes for major projects, including the construction of rail infrastructure, power plants, airports and residential buildings.
Filippo holds an M.Sc. (First Class) in environmental geology from Cardiff University. He also holds a diploma in law from Panthéon-Assas University Paris II.
