Ben specializes in forensic construction disruption and delay analysis and has been engaged in a variety of projects including onshore and offshore oil and gas projects.
Ben commenced his career serving as a materials and corrosion engineer, performing materials and welding research and providing technical expertise for projects located in Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Europe, the Middle East, North America and South America. He subsequently acquired practical experience working in an operating facility to support maintenance and turnarounds as a mechanical integrity consultant.
Prior to joining Kroll, Ben was an associate director at Blackrock Expert Services, which was acquired by Kroll in 2020.
Prior to joining Blackrock Expert Services, Ben was appointed as the materials, corrosion and welding technical authority for a major capital project, supporting the project from concept development to construction. Ben now applies his experience and knowledge in the dispute resolution fields of international arbitration and adjudication.
Ben is a Chartered Engineer, with a materials engineering degree from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, and a M.S. in construction law and dispute resolution from King’s College London.
