Sherif has expertise in transfer pricing documentation and planning; analysis of intercompany transfers of goods, services and intangibles; financial transactions; and audit support. Prior to joining Kroll, Sherif was a member of KPMG's Washington National Tax practice. At KPMG, he advised clients across industries (with a focus on financial services companies) on the pricing of various intercompany transactions for tax and non-tax purposes, as well as training and guiding KPMG professionals on these issues. In addition, Sherif set and reviewed firm policies for analyzing and documenting related-party loans, guarantees, cash pools, and other financing transactions, as well as a variety of banking and asset management transactions.
Before joining KPMG, Sherif helped build Ceteris, Inc. (subsequently acquired by Kroll) into a world-class transfer pricing firm. He began his transfer pricing career at Ernst & Young LLP, serving as the Lead Economist in the Financial Services Transfer Pricing practice in New York.
Sherif has been named one of the world’s leading transfer pricing professionals by Legal Media Group. He has spoken at numerous conferences and seminars and authored several articles on transfer pricing issues.
Sherif holds a Ph.D. in economics from Fordham University.
