Ross Humphrey

Over the last eight years he has specialised in dispute resolution and quantum matters, working on numerous projects in the UK and internationally.

His experience spans across sectors, such as residential and commercial buildings, hotels, roads and highways and large civil engineering and infrastructure projects in oil and gas, power, renewables and nuclear energy.

Prior to rejoining Kroll in April 2025, Ross was a Director in the Quantum practice at Yendall Hunter. Prior to that, Ross was Director at Kroll (and Blackrock Expert Services which was acquired by Kroll in 2020) for nearly six years.

Ross has been appointed as an independent quantum expert on several occasions and has also acted as lead assistant in the preparation of expert reports in arbitration, litigation and adjudication, and has attended many hearings in person.

Ross has a wide range of experience in contractual matters, with expertise in the handling of disputes related to contract terminations, loss and expense, payment, variation and defects and valuation of the works under various forms of contract.

Ross has an M.Sc. in construction law and practice and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
