Ricardo Abril

Prior to joining Kroll, Ricardo was Director and Senior Consultant for more than 10 years at Global Project Strategy (GPS), a leading Latin American firm specializing in dispute resolution, contract administration, planning and project control. He also served as Commercial Manager, PMO Manager, Project Manager and Director at Gómez Cajiao, an engineering company that is dedicated to design, supervision and management of construction projects.

He began his career at Penta Ingeniería, a company manufacturing solutions in metal structures later, he was part of Pyxis Ingeniería as a Project Engineer, in charge of the execution of construction projects in the food industry, energy and water treatment. Later, Ricardo worked as Site Manager and responsible for Project Control in projects in Colombia, Venezuela and Jamaica, at Schrader Camargo Ingenieros S.A. a leading company in construction projects in Latin America.

For the last 10 years Ricardo has specialized in the analysis and resolution of disputes in engineering and construction projects, participating with teams of specialists in contract administration, planning, cost control and engineering.

Ricardo holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad de América (Bogotá, Colombia) and a specialist in Business Administration , from the Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá Colombia).
