She has 10 years of consulting experience focused on financial analysis and mathematical modelling for strategic consulting, financial reporting and business planning.
Rachel’s experience includes valuing licensing, partnering and joint venture arrangements; royalties, milestones and other contingent consideration agreements in M&A transactions; and employee stock options and incentive payments. She has valued early-stage technology, products and companies in technology and life science industries and is experienced in methods for quantifying uncertainty and capturing risk in these valuations.
Rachel has provided support for complex commercial litigation, including patent, false advertising, trademark and construction defect matters based on primary and secondary market research, statistical analysis and econometric modelling. She also managed fieldwork for quantitative surveys.
Rachel’s background includes technical expertise in quantitative methods applied to practical business problems, including statistical analysis, financial modelling and market research. She has solid knowledge in R, SQL, Matlab, STATA and SAS.
Rachel received her M.S. in financial engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and her bachelor’s degree in management science from Beijing Normal University.
