
Michael Kenyon

Prior to joining Kroll, Michael held senior roles with Berkeley Research Group, Navigant Consulting, Hill International, Trett Consulting, AMEC and Tarmac, providing him with a unique perspective gained from both consulting firms and contractor organizations. Michael’s experience spans both national and international projects in airports, offices, hotels, oil and gas, petrochemicals, offshore, buildings and civil engineering infrastructure.
Michael is an established quantum expert witness providing independent expert opinions and testimony in complex international arbitrations, litigation and dispute board proceedings across the globe. He has testified on more than 25 occasions and has been cross-examined by leading King’s Counsel, barristers, construction and engineering lawyers. His evidence has been presented before tribunals comprising internationally recognized arbitrators, former judicial leaders and senior construction law specialists.
Michael’s work routinely addresses the valuation of variations, prolongation and disruption costs, acceleration, termination and completion costs, defects, loss and expense claims, final account disputes and complex damages assessments. He has been appointed on matters across leading arbitral forums, including ICC, DIAC and domestic arbitration proceedings.
Michael holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in quantity surveying and a LLB (Hons). He is a chartered quantity surveyor and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is also a member of FRICS, MCIArb and MAE. He was recognized in Who’s Who Legal Construction 2025 as a Global Elite Thought Leader.
