AT A GLANCE
Prior to joining Kroll, Matt was Partner at EY for 15 years, where he led the firm’s global Economic Advisory practice. In this role, he developed and directed economic impact analysis and stress testing initiatives, including macroeconomic forecasting for financial services under IFRS9, climate impact analysis and trade and policy assessments. His consulting career spans over 60 clients in more than 40 countries.
Matt has worked extensively on geoeconomic scenario analysis and stress testing, conducting quantitative and systematic assessments of macroeconomic, environmental and geopolitical scenarios on countries, sectors and firms for strategic, risk and compliance purposes. He has also advised on macroeconomic scenario analysis and credit risk assessments under IFRS9 for leading banks and insurers. In addition, Matt has delivered economic and social footprint analyses for major corporates and public institutions, and supported regulatory and policy reform initiatives, market liberalization and privatization projects globally.
Matt holds a first class degree in economics, is a former Associate Fellow at Warwick Business School and is recognized for his thought leadership in global economic trends, climate impact and regulatory reform.
