Kutay Guvener is a Director in the Expert Services practice, based in London. Kutay has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked on a wide range of projects within civil engineering and infrastructure, including motorways, hospitals, bridges, airports, wind and solar plants, and oil and gas sectors.

Prior to joining Kroll, Kutay worked as a lender’s technical advisor for the technical due diligence and audits of a multibillion-dollar motorway and several health care public private partnership (PPP) projects in Turkey, the Middle East, the CIS region and Eastern Europe countries. He assisted public authorities, sponsors, PPP developers and financial institutions during financing, refinancing and secondary market transaction of the projects.

Kutay has assisted appointed quantum experts in the preparation of expert reports in several large disputes in international arbitrations, including International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). He is also experienced in various contractual matters relating to termination, extensions of time, acceleration, disruption, loss and expense claims, and valuation of the works.

Kutay holds a B.Sc. in civil engineering from the Middle East Technical University. He is fluent in both English and Turkish.
