John Wilby

Prior to joining Kroll, John served as Managing Director at an international consultancy firm, where he had held several positions leading up to being a Managing Director there.

John has advised some of the largest Employer and Contracting organizations in the region on procurement, contract administration, preparing, defending, negotiating and settlement of claims, dispute resolution and litigation/arbitration support. He has developed these skills from a solid foundation of quantity surveying experience and is particularly well-versed in the preparation of prolongation, disruption and variation claims.

John has been instructed as an independent expert, giving both written and oral evidence on quantum matters in arbitration. He has also represented clients in adjudications and mediations. John is ranked in Lexology Index Arbitration and Construction Expert Witness Guides, which says, “John’s work is very thorough and of the highest quality” and he is recognised as “doing very well under cross-examination.”

John holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in quantity surveying and a post graduate diploma in arbitration. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is an NEC4 accredited project manager.
