Joe’s work spans a broad range of intercompany transactions, including tangible product flows, intangible property licensing and the provision of services. In addition to transfer pricing advisory, he has significant experience performing intangible property and business valuations, primarily for tax purposes. He has also applied economic and transfer pricing principles in non-tax contexts, including the pricing of third-party services arrangements and customs-duty planning where intercompany pricing affects tariff exposure.
Joe has industry experience across life sciences, medical devices and healthcare equipment, laboratory instruments, consumer products, retail, industrial manufacturing and machinery, electronics, semiconductors and enterprise software, among others.
Joe joined Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps) in 2021. Prior to Kroll, he spent five years in the transfer pricing practice of Deloitte Tax in Chicago. He holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.
