Jesús Ángel Alcalá

Jesús Ángel has over 30 years of professional experience, having held senior roles as an auditor, Head of Accounting and Director. His work focuses on technical and expert reporting for judicial proceedings and arbitration tribunals, as well as advising clients on complex financial matters.

He has extensive experience in fraud investigations, financial and operational restructuring and dispute-related advisory services, including the assessment of damages and loss of profits, shareholder disputes and investigation of fraudulent activities.

As an independent expert, he has prepared and defended expert reports across multiple jurisdictions, including the provincial courts of Spain in civil proceedings such as commercial, antitrust, bankruptcy, fraud criminal prosecutions, labor disputes, tax or administrative cases. His experience also includes work before Spanish and international arbitration venues under a range  of rules, including ICC, ICSID, CIAM or UNCITRAL.

Since joining Kroll in  2017, he has worked on more than 100 engagements involving major private equity firms and industrial companies, including cross-border transactions and litigations across EU, Nord of Africa, Turkey and Latin America.

Prior to joining Kroll, he served as Director of Accounting and Consolidation at Adveo Group International, where he led the reorganization of the group across eight EU countries, played a key role in several financial and labor restructuring processes and oversaw the implementation of ERP (SAP) systems across finance functions. Earlier in his career, he spent over 17 years at EY in the Assurance practice, gaining extensive experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) auditing and valuation of large multinational companies.

Jesús Ángel holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He is a chartered economist and a member of the Official Register of Auditors (ROAC) and the Register of Auditor Economists (REA).
