Gillian Chan is Senior Director in the Agency and Trustee Services practice, based in Hong Kong.

Gillian became part of Kroll in 2025 following its acquisition of Madison Pacific where she led the teams across the APAC region in human resources, administration and client service delivery. She brings extensive experience in the financial industry across a wide range of roles and responsibilities, both in Hong Kong and internationally. 

Prior to joining Madison Pacific, she served as the CFO for Greater China at a Dutch global firm offering outsourced solutions to multinationals and alternative asset fund clients. Her responsibilities included establishing and building a Hong Kong-based fund service business in alternative assets including hedge funds, private equity and fund of funds. She led the overall business development and marketing efforts in Hong Kong and across Greater China.

Before that, Gillian led a team at a global European bank providing investor due diligence and onboarding services, through financial and regulatory reporting and investor relations services for alternative asset managers. While based in Sydney, Gillian was part of an asset management firm that listed on the Australian Stock Exchange during her tenure. She worked closely with portfolio managers and boutique fund managers focusing on mortgage, high-yield and long-short products, delivering middle-and back-office solutions.

Gillian earned her CPA in Sydney from CPA Australia and a Fellow at FINSIA now transitioned to CISI. She holds a graduate diploma in portfolio management from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia abd speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
