Colin Wilson, MCIArb

He is a quantity surveyor and quantum expert with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He specializes in the provision of expert quantum analysis as well as advisory services on construction, infrastructure and energy projects.

He has been based in the United Arab Emirates since 2007 and has contributed to projects across the UK, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman, Republic of Kenya and Saudi Arabia.

Before joining Kroll, Colin served as Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting where he led the Middle East Construction, Projects and Assets practice. His earlier career included roles with multinational contracting organizations included BAM UK and AMEC Construction.

Colin has provided strategic advice and expert representation to government entities, employers and contractors on some of the region’s most complex and high-profile projects. He has been appointed as an independent quantum expert in arbitration, litigation and conciliation, and has represented parties in mediation and provided independent determinations on quantum-related matters.

Colin’s sector experience spans a diverse range of high-profile building and infrastructure projects, including oil and gas, airports, educational institutions, high-rise buildings, hospitals, hotels, offices, rail, residential developments, retail, roads and bridges, sewage treatment plants and tunnels.

Colin holds a Post Graduate Diploma in construction law and dispute resolution. He also holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in commercial management and quantity surveying. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
