Prior to joining Kroll, Claire served as CEO of the European Compliance Solutions business at Waystone, where she advised small and large firms, including global trust and corporate services firms and PE firms, providing regulatory due diligence to support capital-raising initiatives. She was also a part of the boards of the UK and regulated UAE Compliance Solutions entities for Waystone. Before that, she served as Managing Director at Kroll for over 12 years, after starting her career in the Banking and Capital Markets Group at Ernst & Young.
Further, Claire has been engaged to undertake commissioned reviews by several international regulators including the FCA in the UK, SFC in Hong Kong, SEC and Department of Justice in the U.S., JFSC in Jersey, CBI in Ireland and CIMA in the Cayman Islands. Her expertise includes leading large scale and complex regulatory reviews and remediation projects, with a focus on internal control and risk frameworks aligned to global regulatory requirements. Claire also has a proven track record of working with boards and reporting directly to boards and senior management.
Claire received a first-class honors degree in economics from Loughborough University. She also holds a CISI Diploma in regulation and compliance and is a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
