Blake Atherton

Blake became part of Kroll in 2025 after its acquisition of Madison Pacific, where he initially began his tenure in October 2016. He has extensive experience advising on and administering bespoke corporate trustee, agency, escrow, custody and holding structures across fresh credit, distressed and special situations. His work frequently involves complex, cross‑border arrangements, including appointments as independent director in connection with specific engagement mandates.

He regularly coordinates with a wide range of stakeholders, including investment funds, banks, institutional trustees, law firms, corporates and high‑net‑worth individuals, across multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Madison Pacific, Blake was an attorney at BLC Attorneys in South Africa, where his experience included regulatory compliance, commercial and corporate law.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and law from Nelson Mandela University.
