Ben Cavanagh

Prior to joining Kroll, Ben was at a global professional consultancy firm where he worked as a chartered quantity surveyor on major building projects and was responsible for commercial management, contract administration and procurement functions.

Ben specializes in providing quantum expert services, independent opinion on contentious matters and independent advice on matters relating to quantum. His experience covers the infrastructure, building and energy sectors, where he has been involved in high value disputes in arbitration involving delay, disruption and termination quantum issues.

Ben has experience across many suites of standard forms of contract, including JCT, NEC and FIDIC, together with experience in bespoke agreements.

Ben holds a first-class B.Sc. (hons) in geography and geosciences from Exeter University. He also holds an M.Sc. in quantity surveying with a distinction and is a chartered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
