Andrew Doherty is a Senior Director in the Expert Services practice, based in London. Andrew leverages more than 12 years of experience as a professional quantity surveyor in the construction sector, specialising in dispute resolution over the last six years.

His extensive experience spans diverse sectors, including commercial, residential, health care, energy, rail and airport projects.

Prior to joining Kroll, Andrew served as a Managing Consultant at Blackrock Expert Services, which was acquired by Kroll in 2020. Before that, he held various roles overseeing commercial functions for construction projects on behalf of both employers and main contractors.

Andrew specializes in providing quantum expert services and has played a pivotal role in assisting appointed experts in preparing comprehensive reports related to quantum for arbitration, litigation and adjudication proceedings. His expertise lies in handling disputes related to contract terminations, prolongation claims, disruption claims and the valuation of variations and defects. Andrew’s diverse background enables him to adeptly navigate the complexities of projects and provide expert guidance and resolution in challenging disputes.

Andrew holds a B.Sc. (Honors) in quantity surveying from the University of Northumbria.
