Mark Jones is an associate managing director in the Cyber Risk practice of Kroll, a division of Duff & Phelps, based in Melbourne, Australia. Mark joined Kroll in July 2019 with the addition of the Enex Carbon team, a regional leader in cyber security management, governance and risk services and a pioneer of Security Culture as a Service (SCaaS™).

He leverages more than 20 years of experience in information security, cyber security, governance and technology risk management services. Mark has over 11 years of demonstrated ability in communicating at board and executive level regarding issues and challenges related to cyber security. In addition, he has 16 years of experience in successfully delivering services to clients in the insurance, finance, government, critical infrastructure, higher education and commercial sectors across Asia Pacific, Europe, UK and North America.

Mark has been in the field of information technology since 1998 and has specifically focused on the delivery of information security and technology risk management services since 2002. His areas of expertise include the design and deployment of information security strategy, implementation of information security management frameworks and management of risks specific to technology.

He’s an active industry speaker and panellist at various cyber security events and conferences. Additionally, Mark is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), and Australian Information Security Association (AISA).
