On July 12, 2022, Superior Grocers (“Superior”), an independent chain of grocery stores, announced the acquisition of Numero Uno Market (“Numero Uno”).
The Consumer Investment Banking practice of Kroll served as exclusive buy-side M&A advisor to Superior Grocers in connection with the transaction.
About Superior Grocers
Founded in 1981, Superior Grocers is one of the largest independently-owned chains of grocery stores in Southern California. With 47-units, Superior offers consumers the highest quality products at the lowest prices with exceptional customer service. Superior is dedicated to serving the communities in which it operates, offering a full array of complementary services in-store, including utility bill payment processing, water vending machines, ATM’s and coin counting machines.
