Yash’s experience includes assisting with the valuation of a range of infrastructure assets across Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America. He has extensive experience in valuing renewable and conventional assets; regulated assets, including distribution and transmission assets; digital infrastructure assets; throughput assets, including toll roads, ports; and social infrastructure assets, including hospitals and care facilities.
Yash also advises clients across a broad range of industries (technology, oil & gas, financial services, telecom and automobile) for various purposes, including transaction, restructuring, litigation, fairness opinion, financial reporting, tax and regulatory reporting.
Yash has performed business valuations and intangible asset valuations for purchase price allocations (ASC 805 and IFRS 3), goodwill impairment testing (ASC 350 and IAS 36), and also numerous valuations for private equity clients under the International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation (IPEV) guidelines.
Prior to joining Kroll, Yash has worked with the Transaction Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young (EY), leading valuation and financial advisory engagements primarily in the infrastructure and utilities sectors.
Yash holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Mumbai University. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
