In last 16 years, Ujjwal has managed and has provided a range of valuation and financial advisory services including real estate valuation, plant and machinery valuation, technical due diligence, fixed asset management, construction cost and claim assessment analysis for various purposes related to financial reporting (under IFRS, USGAAP, IGAAP, etc.), federal and state tax reporting, impairment, ARO, insurance, dispute, litigation, assurance services, and strategic decision making purposes.

Ujjwal has worked in diverse industries including Real Estate, Metals and Mining, Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Manufacturing, Energy, Telecommunication, Automobiles and parts, Chemicals, Electronic and electrical equipment, Healthcare & pharmaceuticals, Hospitality & leisure, Construction, etc.

Prior to joining American Appraisal, he served as Senior Analyst at Deloitte Financial Advisory Service in Hyderabad and Senior Engineer, Execution and Monitoring, at Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. in India. His overall responsibilities included tangible asset valuation, fixed asset management, construction advisory, dispute analysis etc. 

Ujjwal holds a master’s degree in construction management and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. In addition, he is a member of Institution of Engineers of India (MIEI); has been named a Fellow member (FIV) and certified approved valuer by the Institution of Valuers (India); and is a qualified Chartered Engineer (CEng).
