Tim Wainwright is a managing director in the Transaction Advisory Services practice, based in the London office. He has over 20 years of experience working with private equity and corporate clients to advise on acquisitions, divestments, M&A and post-merger integration, value creation and transformation.
Prior to joining Kroll, Tim was a partner at Eight Advisory, a European corporate finance advisor serving private equity and corporate clients. In this role, Tim advised clients on complex transactions and business transformation initiatives, leveraging operational and IT due diligence to deliver value. Before that, he was part of EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice and led the industrial products sector group. While at EY, Tim advised on buy- and sell-side transactions, performing operational and vendor due diligence, strategy assessments and exit readiness reviews. He also led multiple carve-out and integration delivery projects and supported both regulated divestments under European Commission Merger Controls and merger benefit reviews.
Tim received a B.A. in management systems from the University of Hull and an MBA from HEC School of Management, during which time he participated in an exchange program at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
