Steve has over 15 years of experience in capital markets across varying asset classes –public and private, friendly, and hostile, and healthy and distressed. Steve’s vast securities experience has also allowed him to develop deep relationships and knowledge that complement Kroll’s Restructuring Administration practice.
Prior to joining Kroll, Steve was Senior Vice President, Regional Director at AST where he oversaw business development and worked with issuers and advisors across a wide range of transactional situations, and formulated solutions across groups within AST.
While at AST, Steve worked on IPOs of varying degrees of complexity and classes of security and their equity plans. Some noteworthy IPOs included Endeavour, BJ’s Wholesale, Sonos, Planet Fitness and several life sciences companies. Steve also worked on several corporate actions, including a multinational pharmaceutical company’s $12 billion acquisition and spinoff and a $700 million cross-border U.S./Israeli transaction with multiple levels of complexity, including solicitation of tax declarations. Notably, Steve collaborated with Kroll’s Restructuring Administration team on several global engagements involving multiple asset classes, exchanges, and new issuance. Select collaborative engagements include ACBL, Gymboree, Claire’s, 24 Hour Fitness and J. Crew.
Steve has leveraged his experience to gain a deep understanding of the Crypto space, participating in numerous industry conferences and events ranging from the Bitcoin Conference to NFT Week, to understand digital securities and their related protocols’ role in the capital markets and finding ways to provide innovative solutions. Of note, Steve worked with a crypto lender on the facilitation of trusts related to tokens and on other transactions involving digital securities.
Steve began his career in fintech as a business analyst at Ipreo (now S&P) then moved into the corporate space where he oversaw the regional account management of Ipreo’s investor relations services, driving client retention and growth through value-add components and professional services related to data aggregation, ownership identification, and investor targeting.
Steve was named a 2017 winner of The M&A Advisor Emerging Leaders Award for his notable accomplishments in business and in service to the community.
