Sophie Reiss

Sophie Reiss is a director in the Transaction Advisory Services practice, based in the Paris office. Sophie has more than 10 years of experience working on buy- and sell-side due diligence assignments in France and internationally for a wide range of clients, from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to medium- and large-cap corporates.

At Kroll, Sophie focuses on various financial due diligence projects, including buy-side due diligence for private equity clients and vendor due diligence as well as technical carve-out issues. Sophie also works on various consulting projects where she advises clients on integration processes relating to long-term contract matters, separation issues and large-scale integration issues, along with purchase price adjustments and fair value assessments.

Prior to joining Kroll, Sophie held the position of manager at Mazars where she was responsible for due diligence processes, predominately for industry and retail large-cap corporates (Rio Tinto, Axel Springer, Imerys, Sonepar). Prior to that, Sophie worked at Exelmans Audit & Counseil where she gained valuable transaction advisory services experience, mostly being involved in fast-paced and high-quality buy side processes with SMEs. Earlier in her career, Sophie was an auditor at PwC where she worked on large accounts such as Sanofi, Levis Strauss and Philip Morris.
 
Sophie received her Master’s in finance from EDHEC Business School.
