She has more than 17 years of restructuring experience having begun her career as an attorney in the Business Finance & Restructuring department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

As a restructuring attorney, Saima worked on dozens of major chapter 11 restructurings, including representing debtors and major key creditor constituencies across a broad range of industries. After Weil, Saima served as Managing Director of Corporate Restructuring Services at another claims and noticing agent.

Saima graduated from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. Saima currently serves on the Board of Directors for Friends of the Children New York.
