He leverages 20 years of experience in assisting clients in fixed asset valuations, business valuations, fairness opinions, purchase price allocations and determination of fair value for tangible and intangible assets.
He has performed engagements for a variety of purposes including mergers and acquisitions, impairment reviews and bankruptcies, financial planning and reporting, transaction advisory, portfolio valuation, transfer pricing, strategic planning and litigation support. Ricardo has worked with clients across a variety of industries, including, financial, banking, insurance, chemicals, consumer products, consumer retail, energy, water, waste, public sector, healthcare, real estate and manufacturing.
Ricardo received a master’s in economics and completed a postgraduate study in asset valuation from Lusíada University of Lisbon. He also did a postgraduate study in information systems management at the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE).
He is a member of the Order of Economists, the Portuguese Order of Chartered Accountants and the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM). Ricardo is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
