Ray has extensive experience in high-rise construction, including residential buildings, public housing, office, hotel and casino development, hospital, transportation, infrastructure and process/industrial works.
Ray is highly experienced with programming software, such as Primavera Project Planner (P3 and P6), Suretrak, MS Project, Power Project and AMS Real Time. He has professional and practical experience as a live project planner and delay analyst for international clients in the Middle East, PRC, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Taiwan and Malaysia.
Ray has extensive experience in front-end planning and control, delay analysis for EOT assessment, adapting delay analysis for assessing prolongation costs, analyzing and quantifying disruption to programmed work and analyzing delay recovery and acceleration. He has been appointed as an expert witness on numerous occasions and has also given expert evidence in three local hearings in Hong Kong. He successfully led arbitrations in Hong Kong across various projects including Private Industrial Revitalization Project, Private Residential Renovation Project and Government Underground Utilities Project.
Ray holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in building technology and management and M.Sc. in construction and real estate from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has completed his Postgraduate Diploma in arbitration from The College of Estate Management. Ray has also completed his Adjudicator Training from the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building and Fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers. Ray is a Chartered Construction Manager of the Chartered Institute of Building and is also on the panel of Adjudicators of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.
