Nithin Shetty

Nithin Shetty is a director in the Transaction Advisory Services practice, based out of our San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices. He has more than 15 years of professional experience advising clients on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including buy-side and sell-side assistance, post deal integration and growth strategy. In addition, Nithin has more than seven years of audit experience across India, the UK and Canada.

Nithin performs pre-acquisition financial due diligence and evaluates commercial, operational and accounting aspects of buy-side transactions. He also assists with transaction documents, purchase price adjustments, merger integration/transition and post-acquisition accounting and reporting.

Nithin has worked on several M&A transactions for leading corporations and private equity firms, including extensive international experience on cross-border deals between the U.S., Europe and India.

Prior to joining Kroll, Nithin was a director in the Transaction Advisory Services practice at RSM in San Jose. Before this, he was a manager in the Strategy and Transaction Services practice at KPMG, Silicon Valley and KPMG, India, where he provided a wide spectrum of financial advisory services including due diligence, operational synergy and market assessment, feasibility evaluation, integration and forensic services to diverse clients. Nithin started his career with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Bangalore, India providing audit services to Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Cisco and EMC.

Nithin received a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Accounting from Bangalore University, India. He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has passed the exams to be a Certified Public Accountant from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
