
Lukasz Olszewski an associate managing director in SPARK team within the Cyber Risk practice. He leverages more than 15 years of experience in the cyber security industry assisting companies in their response efforts to numerous high-profile breaches.
Lukasz works with a mindset that we can’t solve future information security challenges by continually throwing more people and resources at the issue, he believes that we need to be smarter about how we use what we have and break the headcount increase linearity with efficiency and code.
The SPARK team, which looks at special projects and applied research at Kroll, works on continuous innovation and strategic research for the Cyber Risk business at Kroll.
Prior to joining Kroll, Lukasz served as a senior director for security services at Cybereason. Before that, he held the title of Global Head of Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and Red Team Manager Europe, as well as SIEM Lead Architect for ATOS. Lukasz has also held positions at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Lukasz’ expertise has been featured at conferences across the world, including the International Symposium for Cybercrime Response in Seoul, South Korea and the Atos Experts Convention in Madrid. He has also spoken at the xx33fcon Lightning Talks 2019 and was a panel speaker in NATO NIAS2019.
Lukasz received a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science at the College of Business, National Louis University. He also holds certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEHv8), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) and he has “NATO Secret” and “EU Secret” security clearance.
