
Leo Mahon is a managing director in the Diversified Industrial M&A Advisory practice, based in Chicago.
He leverages over 20 years of M&A and capital markets experience advising public corporations, financial sponsors and family-owned businesses. Leo specializes in providing advisory services to industrial technology and equipment companies.
He has extensive experience advising boards and management teams on acquisitions and divestitures to strategic and private equity buyers and has served in an advisory role in activist situations. In addition, Leo has advised on and executed a wide range of capital markets transactions, spanning the full range of equity and debt financing alternatives.
Prior to joining Kroll, Leo worked with the industrial investment banking groups of Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Citi and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. His transaction experience includes closing over 85 M&A and capital markets transactions exceeding $55 billion in total.
Leo holds an MBA (Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and B.S. degrees in finance and accounting from Marquette University. Leo is also a CPA (inactive).
