Kerem has nine years of experience working with clients in the oil and gas industry including supermajors as well as companies operating in the upstream, midstream and downstream segments of the industry. He has provided transfer pricing advice on several due diligence studies, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and other planning projects. He has also managed global documentation projects and assisted with transfer pricing audit defense.
Prior to joining Kroll, Kerem was a senior manager in the global transfer pricing team of Deloitte Tax LLP.
In addition to his experience in the oil and gas industry, Kerem has served clients from other industries such as chemicals; engineering, procurement and construction; electronics; software; medical products; and consumer products. His transfer pricing expertise includes providing advice on all types of intercompany transactions from tangibles and services to complex intangible and financial transactions. He has also assisted clients with advanced pricing agreements with the IRS and foreign tax authorities.
Kerem holds a PhD in economics, an M.A. in economics and an M.A. in statistics from Rice University. He also holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Istanbul Technical University. He frequently authors transfer pricing articles for publications.
