Kazuto Adachi

Kazuto is a director responsible for business valuations in Japan. He has completed financial valuations of closely held businesses, business interests, capital stock, stock options, intellectual property and intangible assets for purposes including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring of businesses, purchase price allocation, impairment testing, fairness opinions and estate planning. He has completed more than 800 valuations of assets and business interests. His valuation experience includes more than 150 purchase price allocation analyses based on US GAAP, IFRS and Japan GAAP.

Kazuto joined American Appraisal (now Kroll) in 2002 and has been in his current position since 2007. Previously, he spent approximately 20 years in one of the largest insurance companies in Japan, during which time he held various positions including underwriter and corporate planning manager.
