Joseph Muro

Joseph Muro is a director in the Valuation Advisory Services practice, based in Boston.

He leverages more than 17 years of experience in assisting industrial and consumer product companies with valuation advisory services, specializing in providing appraisals for the valuation of business enterprises, legal entities, tangible and intangible assets, and debt and equity securities for purposes of financial and tax reporting, tax reorganizations and restructurings, merger and acquisition planning, and stockholder litigation.

Joseph’s expertise has been featured in McGraw-Hill’s Valuing a Business, 6th Edition, of which he was a contributing author.

Joseph received a B.S. in finance and economics from Boston College. He is also an accredited Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds both a Certified in Entity and Intangible Valuations (CEIV) credential and an Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the CFA Society Hartford, and the CFA Society Boston.
