Javier Maza

Director

Javier Maza is a Director in the Restructuring practice, based in Madrid. Javier leverages more than 15 years of professional experience, and he has participated in numerous corporate and financial restructuring processes in various sectors.

Among his recent notable projects at Kroll, Javier has been involved in advising the Gristian Lay Group on the acquisition of the Gallardo Balboa Group, owned by KKR, as well as in numerous refinancing processes of strategic companies affected by the COVID-19 crisis for the state funds SEPI and COFIDES.

Prior to joining Kroll, Javier served as Senior Analyst at Ferrovial (IBEX: FER), where he was part of the Finance, Strategy and Investment department.

Previously, Javier developed his career at PwC, first in the Assurance division as an Auditor Supervisor in the construction sector, where he participated in the audit reviews of public companies, and later in the Advisory division within the Restructuring department, where he participated in several refinancing and corporate restructuring processes assisting both the debtor and the creditors.

Javier holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville.
