Since 2001 and until 2021, Javier has developed his career at KPMG, as part of the founding team of the Restructuring & Debt Advisory practice in Spain, having been a partner for the last 10 years. Previously he worked in corporate banking for BNL and Banco Popular.
Javier has been involved in numerous financial and operational restructuring projects, financing and refinancing processes, working for both financiers and companies.
He has extensive experience in the preparation and analysis of business plans, financial structuring and liquidity management, both in crisis environments and insolvency and pre-insolvency situations, as well as in turnaround and growth. He has also carried out CRO functions in restructuring processes.
Javier has published numerous articles on topics related to financing and has participated as a speaker at numerous economic and business events and forums.
