Janet Burt is a senior director in the restructuring practice, based in London. Janet is a licensed insolvency practitioner with over 25 years of restructuring and advisory experience working with a breadth of stakeholders, ranging from small- and medium-sized enterprises to large corporates, lenders, shareholders and governments, both in the UK and globally.

Janet provides strategic and commercial solutions to deliver the highest quality outcomes for clients across all levels of distress. Her work focuses on business reviews, options analysis and contingency planning, and formal insolvency appointments such as pre-packs and trading administrations.

Prior to joining Kroll, Janet worked at a Big Four accounting firm and boutique restructuring firms both in the UK and Australia, where she gained expertise across a wide range of industry sectors, including retail, construction, real estate, and hospitality and leisure.

Janet holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Melbourne University. She is also a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3); the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals (INSOL); the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC); and the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ).
