Hazel Doughty is a director in the Restructuring Advisory practice, based in London. Hazel leverages more than 15 years of experience providing support to underperforming businesses and their stakeholders, both as an advisor and from a regulatory perspective.
Her primary focus is to assist small-to-medium-sized businesses with independent business reviews and cash-flow forecasting. She also has experience in dealing with larger and more complex restructurings. Furthermore, she has additional experience of contingency planning through completion of the CPI examination.
Prior to joining Kroll, Hazel worked with the National Health Service (NHS) England, where she was part of a multidisciplinary national team, providing regulatory and non-regulatory intervention for the most challenged NHS Trusts and Foundation Trusts. This included financial plan deep dives, efficiency and transformation program reviews, support and challenge of business cases, and regulatory performance management and oversight. Hazel’s early career was spent at KPMG, where she trained in financial services audit, before a move into restructuring. Her sector experience includes manufacturing, construction, car parking and care homes.
Hazel holds a B.Sc. in natural sciences from Durham University. She is a Chartered Accountant and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
