Fred Bliss

Prior to joining Kroll, Fred was a principal at Kane Reece Associates, a valuation consulting firm he joined in 1987. Previously, he held senior leadership positions at Valuation Research Corporation and served as a consultant at Deloitte Haskins & Sells. He began his career as a principal engineer. In the last few years, Fred has managed and conducted worldwide appraisals for media business assets totaling over $600 billion. He has served as an expert witness in valuation analysis for federal and state courts, and in proceedings before the IRS and in 25 states. Fred is a frequent lecturer and author on valuation matters.

Fred holds an M.B.A. in finance and an Advanced Professional Certificate in federal taxation from New York University and an M.S. in environmental engineering from Cornell University and a B.C.E. from Villanova University. He is also an accredited senior appraiser and certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
